Our chief content creator, Kathryn Brown, commissioned in the Air Force in 2017. Later that year she bought her first house, discovered real estate investing and the FIRE movement. She’s spent the years since then learning everything she can about investment strategies and choosing her path to Financial Independence.

She and her husband are on track to be millionaires by 35, despite not coming from affluence. She’s a pilot, for now, but plans to take a sabbatical from traditional employment in the near future. They have a rental portfolio of 10 homes, have attained Coast FI within their traditional retirement accounts, and have plans to retire to Barista FI in their 40’s.
